The Biostratgraphy Data Portal is a web-based data retrieval and analysis service that gives exploration & production geoscientists one-stop access to biostratigraphy data through their web browser.

The Portal cross-references biostratigraphic data from multiple sources (Minerals Management Service and commercial data providers), and then assembles and integrates it so that the results are comprehensive and consistent.

The Portal  can perform specialized analyses (e.g., age-to-depth graphs), calculate net sand, generate summary reports and plots, and export the results in formats that can be readily transferred to general office software (e.g., Word, Excel), as well as specialized integrated geologic interpretation applications (e.g., Landmark, Petrel).
